Virtual Training Camps
What To Expect
These camps are for queer people who want to run—and want support that actually makes sense. We know starting something new (or coming back after a break) can feel messy and intimidating. That’s why we’ve built camps that are structured but low-pressure, encouraging but never pushy, and always rooted in care.
When you join, you’re not just following a plan. You’re stepping into a space that’s made with you in mind.
Here’s what’s included:
A private Discord space to connect with others in your camp and the wider Queer Runnings community
Weekly check-ins to help you stay on track, talk things through, and celebrate wins (big or small)
A clear weekly focus like pacing, form, mindset, and more to keep things simple and steady
A weekly roundup to celebrate and reflect.
Full access to QR events, community, and Strength & Conditioning during the camp
A training plan written by Sophie, adapted to your group’s needs
You don’t need to be fearless, fast, or already fit. You just need a bit of time, some interest, and a willingness to try. We’ll help you figure the rest out.
Both our Couch to 5k and 5 to 10k camps are 12 weeks long, with limited places available. Early bird price is £65. We also offer payment plans, pay-what-you-can options, and free spots. Please drop us an email at sophie@queerrunnings.com to find out more. If you want to run, we want to help you do it.

Couch to 5k
This is for you if you can run for just 1 minute (or even just jog between lampposts) and want to build up to 30 minutes of continuous running.
You don’t need to feel “ready.” This camp is built around building confidence, finding consistency, and learning to listen to your body, not pushing through or proving anything. It’s beginner-friendly and pressure-free.

5k to 10k
This is for you if you can already run for about 30 minutes and want to build up to 10K on your own terms. No need to chase a race or a time, unless you want to.
We’ll help you make running feel sustainable and satisfying. Getting curious, building rhythm, and running with care and intention.
